Founded in 1997, Finish Line Construction was a construction company with a foot in the world of environmentally sound development. In mid 2016, however, they had been sold to new owner Kristen Pruitt. Kristen wanted to focus more on the green side of the company and was ready to rebrand and refocus it into “Finish Line Environmental”.
She brought to us a very traditional Copperplate based look that she had drafted up. Along side that she showed us some logos and branding from her competitors in the region that she really liked that were more contemporary and colorful.
We expanded our research to companies across the country and went in the direction of what she liked as opposed to what she had drafted. Using the Ginger Leaf we added a water ripple showing the effects the smallest of things can have on the world around us. The water ripple became the design element used throughout their collateral.
